Unaffordable Friday

I've decided Fridays will be the day to daydream about the wardrobe of a RICH architect.  Starting that off with Chloe, since my profile picture on here is one of hers.  Here's a bigger version, it's from Fall 2009.

And here's some current Chloe that I love, plus even some See by Chloe.

Lauren Moffatt

I posted one dress of her's yesterday, here's some more - the spring collection is amazing, and inspired by a dress from her mother's closet that was worn on her honeymoon!  (More here)

Perfect for the 4th of July!

Some florals, peter pan collars, and bows that aren't too, too childish for work:

Oops!

Forgot to post yesterday... was out on a hike in the Everglades all day (left the house at 5:15 am, came back at 6 pm) and was understandably totally exhausted afterwards.  Happy President's Day!

As an apology to my non-existent readers, there will be a double post today.  This first one is of some favorite minimalist decor of mine, from the book New Minimalist Houses by Anja Llorella.

Skills

I had mostly decided not to post on the weekends, but this one is non-fashion related.  Here's just a list of skills I would love to acquire someday:
1) how to ride a motorcycle
2) how to weld
3) how to speak Italian
4) how to play the cello
5) how to make (simple) shoes
6) how to build an observatory on the moon :-)

Most of my previous posts were filled with neutral colors.  So here's a bit of un-neutral to brighten your day!

Line Design

Speaking of Club Monaco - there was this shirt long ago I really regret not buying, and I can't even find a picture of it.  Window pane print similar to the two just below, cream background, black lines, boxy fit, silk collared button-up.  But I have hope, I once similarly regretted not buying a leaf print jersey wrap dress from there, and lo and behold, they brought it back a few years later!  I definitely got it the second time around.

Don't remember where this is from, but I do know it's sold out.

Here's a few more graphic prints from Anthropologie.

All should be worn with a class black pencil skirt of course, this one's from Hugo Boss:
